At the age of 20 my life was changed forever. I didn’t know it at the time but in many ways being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis would be a positive. Sure it was debilitating and I, like so many struggled with symptoms and flare ups for years. Being young and defiant didn’t help either. But after struggling to stick to my diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle for quite a while I found the support and strength I needed.


At 26 I started a job at a Gluten Free market and began what would be a stealthy, vast and priceless education in the health food industry. Being surrounded by coworkers and customers with similar dietary issues, health concerns and a general zest for healthier living fueled my passion for the industry and my gluten free baking. I started selling my gluten free breads at the market I worked for. The breads were an immediate hit.


Slowly I started to figure out successful substitutions for all of the common allergens and food intolerance's so all my customers could enjoy the breads. After quite a bit of trial and error, Dream Sweets Baking Company was born.


Today, Dream Sweets is proud to offer not only traditional baked goods but also baked goods that are free of gluten, dairy, egg, nuts (not a nut free facility), soy and yeast.  Despite the lack of traditional ingredients, our alternative confections prove that you can still have a moist and delicious treat no matter your dietary restrictions.  Dream Sweets currently offers fresh baked breads, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, donuts, pies and tarts in many fantastic flavors.
